Couples & Individual Therapy

Kate Sandoval, LMFTA

In-Person & Virtual Session in Washington

Relationships are my specialty and I help couples and individuals who want to build connection and trust to each other and themselves.

Big emotions don’t scare me. Whatever you’re feeling, it belongs.

KATE

Marriage & Family Therapist

My mission is to help couples and individuals navigate relationship challenges, identity shifts, and the messy, often complicated experience of being human.

My approach is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—two powerful, research-supported models that help people understand their emotional worlds, access their inner resources, and heal from the inside out.

I also offer Art Therapy interventions and Eco Therapy interventions for clients who are interested in creative or nature-based ways of exploring their inner world. These approaches can be especially helpful when words aren't enough, or when reconnecting with the body and the natural world feels like part of the healing.

GINGER

Meet Ginger, Kate’s “Co-Therapist”

Ginger will likely be hanging out during your therapy session. She’s not formally trained in any way, but many clients find her sweet and shy presence calming.

However, some people may prefer not to be around dogs, and that’s okay.

If you’d rather not have Ginger around, just let me know. We can work something out that makes you feel more comfortable.
